I'm giving the 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp honey cold cure a try. So far it seems to be doing something - which is more than I can say for the cold meds I had been trying.
I started a couple of days ago with the honey and cinnamon drank as a tea. I started with a cold yesterday, but it is definitely not hitting as hard, or in the same way, as most colds. Just a runny nose and some sneezing, no horrible sore throat or coughing. I'm not ready to say it's the cinnamon, but it might be...0 -

You are using the raw honey also, correct? If so, that also has something to do with it as raw honey has remarkable healing properties also.0 -
Just read thre article. I knew it was good for lowering blood sugars. I didn't know about all the other benefit. Thanks0

I add a good helping of cinnamon to my coffee grounds every morning and brew it together.
It tastes amazing and now I feel like its missing something if I dont. I use the 'fancier' McCormick cinnamon for that because it tastes SO much better.
Think I might pick up cinnamon capsules tho for days when Im away from my own coffee or w/e because I really did notice a difference after awhile of simply adding cinnamon to coffee!0 -

Trader Joe's Clover Blossom Honey here. I'm just going by what the article said. I'm doing mine straight up. Put the cinnamon on the spoon and then the honey and then lick it off.0 -

Ok. Someone mentioned on this thread or another thread yesterday that they were using raw creamed honey from a local source.
The raw stuff is so good and good for you too!!0 -

When I am at home I use a local raw honey with bee pollen included (great for allergies.) When at work I use a cheap bottled honey, until it runs out and then I'll refill it with local honey. The best honey for you is going to come from local bee keepers. Try to find them at a farmer's market, flea market, or a small health food store.0 -
I've also had good results with it. Seems to target belly fat- I lost 2 inches in my belly and 1.5 in my hips last month alone!
:drinker:

Wow thanks I had no idea, will start adding it to my diet tomorrow and passing the word around.0

A week and a half into the cinnamon and honey thing and there is definitely a change! I'm having to use my rescue inhaler FAR less than I was - and given our cold temps, the fact that I've gotten through 2 runs outside (45+ minutes) and haven't even felt I might need to reach for it... I'm a believer!0

Glad it's working for you, it has many benefits.0
