DH has this problem. He watches more TV than me and the urge to graze is right then.
I seemed to have solved it by not really watching TV any more. I'm too busy doing other things and am generally exhausted by the time it's evening.
Cutting TV time is a big commitment and a big change, but, hey, this is all about lifestyle choices, right?0 -
My saving grace for after dinner/before bed is 5 or 6 cups stove top popcorn. (100-120 cal) I make sure and save at least 150 calories at the end of every day so I don't panic, thinking I can't have anything to eat after dinner. For the popcorn, I use 1 TBSP oil and 2-3 TBSP popcorn and land o lakes butter seasoning (5 cal). Works good for me. Maybe will help you too.0

This happens to me all the time. I can relate so much. It's really just a mental thing that you have to overcome, but it's just so hard. It's just so hard to overcome those mental barriers and those habits that you have built up.0
