I think I can learn to like almond butter...

...but it would help if it didn't LOOK so much like peanut butter. LOL. I had an almond butter and honey sandwich for lunch, and it was good...when I reminded myself it was almond butter, because my brain saw it and thought "peanut butter!!" and then my tongue thought it was peanut butter gone bad.

Am I the only weird one like this?

Nope. I like it, but every time I have it I expect to taste peanut butter and am surprised when it doesn't. Trader Joe's makes some yummy almond butter!

I like pretty much all nut butters and I no longer eat anything with peanuts in it as they are not a nut.

Macadamia and cashew butters are my favorites.
  • Marantha makes an almond butter with chocolate. The calories are the same as regular almond butter.

PB2..........the powdered peanut butter tastes FABULOUS!

They even make one with chocolate. I add it to yogurt, almond milk, anything really!

I just cannot deal with even the IDEA of "powdered peanut butter". If I wanted to eat powdered food, I'd be an astronaut. Blech!

I don't have a problem with occasional peanut butter. I'm just trying to mix some almond butter into the mix occasionally.

Definitely...almond butter & honey on some whole grain (I love Oatnut) bread, and you have a power sandwich, there! ;-)

We gave up Peanutbutter years ago. I don't have any desire
to eat it now. I LOVE almond butter and it is better for you.
I hope you can become to love it too!!

I can't deal with the idea of powdered peanut butter either..............or powdered food of any kind.
