1st time in my life, not obsessing about dieting....

i'm just carefully monitoring and recording all my foods and calories. i have 14-15lbs i want to lose...really, i would be ok with just 10. I remember being 50 lbs overweight and feeling like i could never get to my goal....and didn't. until i stopped obsessing and just quit eating all the time about 2 yrs ago. since then, i don't have the appetite, i don't gorge, i don't eat out, i don't eat a bunch of junk, and i don't eat large portions. i lost 50 lbs without even trying to lose weight over 2 yrs. i gained 10 lbs back this past winter because i kept baking at home like crazy....i was bored! so, now i want to nip this in the bud because i never want to be heavy again, ever! i just find that it is so much easier to lose weight when i'm not completely consumed with my weight and food. i just cut back, change the types of food and the pounds just come off. anyway, i love this site!
