Why do I lose weight from non-conventional areas?

I noticed a lot of my weight loss came for. My shoulders and hands/wrists. Also, I'm lopsided. My tummy is way flatter on the right end, and my hipbone is visible. On the left: tummy, love handle, no visible hip. While I'm at it, I still have some fat under my chin (not a double chin, though. Know what I mean?)
Why doe this happen and how do I fix it?

Unfortunately you can't spot reduce. You can try to tone/tighten those areas by strength training but you can't really decide where the fat is going to come from.0
