dusting off an old resolution...

After losing a solid 20 lbs at the beginning of the year then slacking off without gaining it back or losing much more, I'm picking up the pace on this weight loss thing again. Although I haven't even hit my first goal, being just under obese leaves me feeling complacent because this is the body I'm used to; about the same body I've had since my 16th year or so. Somewhere between acceptance and knowing I could be a little better, I've started Stronglifts 5x5 today. I am again determined to get to the gym on the regular, eat a bit healthier, and log everything that passes through my lips because even though 226 lbs doesn't feel that bad to me, I'm really curious to see what 160-170 lbs feels like! Here's to getting back on the wagon! Cheers (chugs a tall glass of water)! :wink:
