People Filter Here on MFP

Anyone else notice the 'people filter' doesn't work? If it's not working I wish they would just leave it out. I wanted to find some people near me, but when I try to use the filter, I get people from as far away as Texas. I'm in TN, and that is not within 200 miles of TN

    Yes I noticed that too. Tried finding people near me (Canada) within a few miles and I get people in the U.S. Somebody should fix it.

    I hear your frustration but I think some of my best supporters may be far away.

    Same here, tried finding people in Manhattan, KS and it gave results that were really off to my search!!!
