Hello, I am starting The Dr's diet by Dr. Travis Stork on Aug 15, 2014. I am a healthy 40 year old female that has fallen off the wagen of 160lb for a year and have gained 13 lbs centered mostly in my belly. I was over my normal weight at 160 lbs on my 5 '4" frame but I had an active healthy life. I have attempted to lose weight within last year but lost motivation within a week. I turned 40 this year and decided to lose 40lbs and will do it with the help of this diet and starting either Insanity workout or just plain walking for minimum of one hour per day. Diabetes runs in my family and I am worried about becoming another victim of this disease, especially that I carry my weight around my belly while my hips and legs are slim. If any one likes to join me on this journey I will be more than delighted as I love reading all the support and positive comments on the forum. My greatest fears/ challenges are bread, pasta, sweets, and stress. I want to win my battle against white sugar and flour. My moto for wining will be " I am a winner, and I have a wining plan to reach my goal"
We all make mistakes but it would be even worse if we repeat the same mistake over and over...I have made many bad choices but it is time to face the problem. I owe it to myself and to my family and loved ones to become healthy and fit. I can do it and you can also, join me in this journey and let's drop 40lbs by the end of the year.
