Looking for motivating people late 40's and up

The challenges when you body really starts to change! At least for me, the 30's was ok, even the early 40's but now being 48, the body resists what I want it to do. Frustrating! The ups and downs of weight loss with less and less requiring more and more.
I'm a Canadian getting ready for the winter season - leaves already started turning. Where did summer go?!?:! I did not get where I wanted to be before Sept (too far now to reach that goal).

I hear you loud and clear thankfully here in Australia winter is slowly coming to an end time to get my butt back into gear.:laugh:0

I'm motivated and in my late 40's. I walk most days, log every day, paddle in a dragon boat a couple of times per week, and use Vivofit to keep me moving throughout the day.
BTW I am Polly 274 on Garmin Connect and I am happy to connect with anyone who is interested in health and fitness.0 -

Garmin Connect is a web site/app that keeps displays steps and activities from some Garmin devices. I link it with MFP to have my calories/kilojoules counted against what I eat. Garmin Connect also has a social component to share activities with others.

IF looking for motivation, the good news is its only mid august today.still got 6 weeks of decentish weather to make a start!.
i am in the uk and started july 1 for same reason.last night was rainy and cold here already.
now i am up at 9am sunday ready to go to the gym.my choices are made and activated.
