What professional should I be talking to?

I've been doing this weight loss thing for about 3 years. I struggle with that last 10-20lbs. I think I might be overdoing things in the gym and screwing my hormones up. So I'd like to talk to somebody who knows what they are talking about. I am not a newbie at fitness or nutrition, but I feel like I've used every trick up my sleeve. I need somebody who knows about fitness, nutrition and how to balance it all to reach my goals. My gut is telling me a normal dietitian isn't going to be be able to help me. My normal doctor just wants to throw medication at me. I am probably going to start with an endocrinologist.. but any other advice?

How many, if any, of your exercise calories do you eat back?

I sounded like you a few weeks ago, but I've really entrenched myself in MFP and am seeing positive results. It sounds like you're really active, so are you tracking your calories? I'm just guessing, but you appear small-framed in your pic and don't look like you have a lot to lose, so it will most likely take longer.

I would start out by weighing everything and tracking every bit of food that goes in your mouth. You might be burning a lot of calories with your exercise, however, you might be eating too much to achieve the deficit you need to meet your goal. I, personally can wipe out my exercise benefits with one or two bad snack choices.

Another thing I would suggest is getting a fitness tracker like a Fitbit. I have one and love it! It has really helped me get a feel for my calorie burns and it works great with MFP.

I am hypothyroid and have been on meds for about 5 years. I am 51 and even though it's harder than it was years ago, I can still lose the weight. If you are experiencing symptoms of hypothyroidism, I would definitely discuss that with your dr.

New doctor. If you can't trust the one you have, get a new one.

if the ONLY symptom you have is "not losing weight" ......then its probably not something you need an endocrinologist for. When you say you've used "Every trick" up your sleeve............... Well. Have you tried the tricks up other peoples?
