i'm back

:embarassed: Okay so I'm back and need all the encouragement that anyone is willing to give me. Not fun being a single pringle but I'm determined to shift some of this weight now and stop feeling sorry for myself!! Please feel free to add me as a friend. Also any advise on how many calories i need to have per day would be helpful. I am 5'5'' and walk to work which takes 15 mins. 11st 6lb and would like to lose a stone in a decent time frame :grumble:

    I am about your height -- 5'6. Also walk to work. Working on losing baby weight. Feel free to check out my diary - I can share recipes if you like. My strategy when starting back up was to work down to calorie goal and see what feels right - -and also meal plan. So, I started one week with a 1700 cal goal, now on a 1500 cal goal.

    As for meal plan - I have been logging my diary on the weekends for the next week and I stick to it (or adjust as needed). Its made things a bit easier. I don't weigh my self too often because I don't want to get too obsessive. But I know I have lost 4 lbs in the last few weeks. Unfortunately I am eating artificial sweeteners - which I usually try to stick to all natural sources for everything - but whatever, just trying to go with the calories in calories out method right now.

    Best of luck.... have been using MFP for a couple years - but just now getting active again since I no longer need extra calories to pass on to baby. Plus now that I am at home with the baby more - I don't get too much adult conversation in these days, so open to making friends on MFP.
