I'm haven't tried it yet, but yesterday I found a recipe for chicken and zoodle soup. Instead of noodles, it calls for spiralized zucchini. Chicken noodle soup screams comfort food to me.0

Oh my goodness I must share this with you: Green Giant here in the States makes a "tuscan seasoned broccoli" that you stick in the microwave and after five minutes you have the most delicious broccoli I've ever tasted.
Like, I want that broccoli instead of mac 'and cheese very often now. And I love macaroni.0 -
I'm pretty sure that's a paradox!
Why not have 1/2 a portion of your favourite comfort food. Bam, 1/2 the calories saved.0 -
I keep banana "ice cream" in the freezer. Bananas are a great base for yummy "ice cream" and freeze really well. My latest favorite is 2 banana + 1 Avocado + 1 cup almond milk.....blend blend blend the freeze. I made 4 yummy 138 calorie popsicles from this mix.0

Big bowl of my homemade three bean chili. It has tons of veggies and spices and just enough meat for flavor. Yummy. Now I have to make some this weekend.0

Enlighten chocolate fudge ice cream bars. They are amazing and actually good for you!
Aside from that... Boom Chicka Pop sea salt pop corn.
If I am feeling like real comfort food but want some nutritional benefits while being kinda sorta low(ish) calorie I go for chocolate zucchini bread. At least I am getting dark chocolate and veggies haha!0 -
