Scales Are Liar Faces

So I just discovered that my scale is a liar and apparently I am 10 lbs heavier than I thought. I had it in a place where it said I was lighter and when I moved it around the room it added the weight back on. I am so disheartened right now. Can someone help with some tips to apparently jump start the weight loss I so desperately need?

    1. It doesn't look like you "desperately" Need weight loss. Take a calm and long term approach.

    2. Try moving your scale a few more times. If it fluctuates a lot on even surfaces it might be broken.

    3. Don't be too obsessed with your scale weight. As long as you look like you want to look and feel healthy it really doesn't matter how much you weigh in at.

    4. Even if you get new scales they might report you as even heavier. Home scales aren't best known for their on point accuracy. They are however relatively accurate which makes them fine for purpose.
