BMR and MFP OMG

I found out my BMR is 1815. MFP has me set at 1520. On days I work out, I try to hit about 1700 (I may be a bit over or under) because I like a bit of cushion for my calories, as I don't have a scale yet and know there is a big difference between the weight of food and measuring it. But on my rest days, do I need to eat 1520, or can I still go for 1815?
I just don't want to screw myself over.

Its up to you, depending on how you feel.
Some will say not to eat below your BMR but I don't recall any scientific reasoning for this. The minimum recommendation for women is 1200 because its nearly impossible to get a full day's worth of nutrition on less.0 -

When I joined MFP and used their NEAT method my daily calories before exercise was below my BMR too...not a big deal.
On my rest days I ate MFP recommended calories...0 -
Hmm okay. I've had weight loss doing it how I've been doing, but I'm going on vacation for the next few days and won't be able to do my usual workouts so I was just wondering what I should do. I know enjoy my vacation and all that, but I don't want to get too crazy because I feel like if I do I'll fall off the wagon.0
