Walking shoes

I was wanting to know what is a really good womens walking tennis shoe. I have been walking about 6 miles a day and I know I need new shoes.

What are you walking in now? Other than being worn, is there anything wrong with them?

You might want to try going into a running store and explaining that you are a walker. Many times they fit shoes by having people run on a treadmill and see what their feet do. They could do the same with you with walking. At a running store (in the US) you are going to pay about $100 for a pair of shoes.

If that is too expensive, go to a sporting goods store and try on various running shoes until you find one that feels comfortable for you. There are all sorts of good brands out there. The sporting goods store might even differentiate between running shoes and walking shoes.

Consider buying your shoes at least a half (US) size larger than normal shoes. Your feet move in the shoe and you want a little room. I am a runner and buy my running shoes 1 1/2 sizes larger and have for more than 10 years.

Yes! My heels were hurting and my nephew who runs a lot told me to loosen my laces. I was trying to strap those puppies on tight lol!

But, I would say that of all I've tried over the years...I love love love every pair of Saucony's I have and have had.

The only thing I don't like is my big toenail goes up and out the tops through the mesh easily. But, I keep on going anyway. The shoes are still good, it's just my stupid toenails! (And, that is on all my tennis shoes, not just my Saucony's.)
