I'd definitely start with the pool. It's easier on your joints. You can also get Leslie Sansone's Walk at Home DVDs at WalMart. Start off in the comfort of your own home, with carpet under your feet to absorb the shock. I used it at work, but the cement floors ended up hurting my back and hips too much.0

Congratulations on your journey back to health. Just getting started moving will help you, no matter if you can't do an hour of exercise, YET! Working out does not have to be in a gym. You can walk a lap around the grocery store before you start shopping. Walk up and down stairs a couple of times. Gradually build your endurance and strength. Try some Pilates DVDs to help tone and build strength, they are low impact.0
