Hello all! My name is Sarah. I am 25 years old, have a 3 year old daughter, and am trying to get healthy so that I can be a better role model for her.
Now the dirty stuff....
I am 5'3(I think)
I am 174lbs
Size: L-XL/14
I have been using MFP for a week and a half and already feel better. I am on a strict caloric intake and I think my body is just now readjusting to it... My tummy put up the most fighting. I only weigh myself weekly when I am at work, I refuse to buy a scale for my home. I don't want to bring that type of obsession into my daughters life. And I only use that scale because I can try 3 different scales in an hour and get different numbers.
My goal is set at 10lbs. I believe setting forth on multiple short term goals will get you to the long term faster, and the likeliness of giving up because of waiting won't rear it's ugly head. I reach 10 lbs I will be happy and celebrate. Then lose 10 more. I hope to be in BMI range for my height by the end of the year, that gives me 4 1/2 months to lose 30lbs.
I have a wonderful support at home, my husband and kid are gread motivators for me. But having a community that wants to achieve the same as me will be just as wonderful,. So I am asking for eveyones support and hope that I can help you on your journey.
