LOL, I actually meant for this to be a semi serious discussion but now I feel embarrassed. I wasn't looking for any quick fix at all and have been doing well on my own, but I was just curious about the product because it was from Steve Turano, and most of the stuff he talks about in his videos is pretty inspiring, in my opinion.
Anyways, here was the Great Fat Loss Pill Video (link below). And no NO I wasn't looking for a quick fix, I was just curious about what he invented, that's all.

Admire others all you like, but when they start peddling something you would do well to remember that nearly everybody has a price. And it's easy to justify something to oneself when a payoff is involved.0 -
I respect Steve Turano from AskARealExpert on youtube. Now we all know that most pills are hoaxes, but let's talk specifically about this product. It's supposed to help speed up the fat loss process, when accompanied (like anything else) with diet and exercise.
That pill is called Great Fat Loss Pill. It contains 3 major ingredients. Caffeine- to help speed the metabolism, Willowbark- Curbs appetite when combined with caffeine, and Phosphatidylserine- helps to lower cortisol levels
Now of course, like he says, this doesn't let you eat pizza smothered with pork chops all day long, but it's supposed to help you with energy metabolism, appetite, and help lower your cortisol levels.
How effective do you think this pill would be when combined with the right diet and proper exercise? Would it help to facilitate the process or would it just be a placebo effect?
That said, it's bull. The only way any weight loss pill works is if you eat at a calorie deficit. If you don't eat at a calorie deficit, the weight loss pill won't work.
My advice: eat at a deficit and chuck the weight loss pill.0 -
Guys this isn't supposed to cause you to magically lose fat, it's supposed to help facilitate the process when you're already doing the right thing.0

No see like I said, the pill is only supposed to facilitate the weight loss process once you are already eating at a caloric deficit and it's also supposed to be a good pre workout supplement. I'm not promoting for the guy. But many things can facilitate weight loss aka eating a caloric deficit such as fiber, water, vegetables, protein, or chewing your food slower. These things make it easier to eat less, that's all. But he says the pill also burns more calories for you cuz of the caffeine. I wasn't sayin this was a quick fix, please, I was just trying to speculate about this specific product and its ingredients. For instance, ephedra facilitates a faster metabolism, but it isn't legal.
Then drink caffeine or take caffeine pills. Some of us use caffeine pills or powder as our pre workout supplement because caffeine is cheap. The other ingredients in the product aren't proven to do anything for weight loss and can be obtained in safe doses from safe sources. Take a baby asprin and if you are worried about recovery increase your amino acids either naturally or through supplements.
You know what else facilitates a faster metabolism and is legal? Strength training. It also helps you preserve lean mass, so you'll have less weight to lose in the end.0 -

The only way to lose weight is to eat at a calorie deficit. Any weight lost from speed-type pills will most likely come back once you stop using the pill. I know, i've used ephedra in the past.0 -
