Looking for a few 5:2 buddies

Hi All
I am not new to MFP, although my profile would suggest otherwise! - I recently de-activated my old account by mistake and now on again and starting over with a fresh approach and new goals.
I had success on here logging food and walking and cycling for a bit of exercise and lost 31 lbs. I am at the higher end of "normal BMI and weight" and could do with losing around 5 - 7 lbs more. I have reached that plateau and been more or less the same weight for 7 months and getting a tad frustrated!
I have been thinking of doing 5:2 for quite a while now and would like to be buddies with others doing 5:2 for support and banter.
Thank you and have a great day!

I just recently heard about 5:2 (just today, actually!) and I am interested... since just reading briefly about it, I'm considering trying it, but I am wondering if anyone who has done this has any constructive feedback about it and maybe some real life experience to throw in?0

I have done both 5:2 and 18/6. I prefer 18/6, because I eat between 12pm-6pm (when I'm hungriest) and it has really helped with the cravings at night. And it has made losing weight a lot easier.0
