Struggling with diet/food choices.

Hiya guys!
I'm in recovery for Anorexia and now weight restored at 9 stone, 3 lbs and 5'8 tall. However am wanting to maintain at around 9 stone. I'm managing to eat my calorie goal and whatnot but i'm struggling with what foods I should be eating. I loved being Vegan but it wasn't good for my health (due to being Lactose Intolerant also) but I am really into clean eating. So I was just wondering if anybody has any guidance on good clean/paleo diets, or just general advice for healthy eating, that'd be great!

Pretty much this. "Healthy food" is a bit of a subjective term anyway. To some people, fresh veggies>frozen veggies>canned veggies; for others, a veggie is a veggie and they consider it part of a healthy diet whether it comes from a farmer's market, freezer, or can. To some people, potatoes are bad for you; to others it's a good way to get potassium. To some people, all chocolate is bad; to others, dark chocolate is ok but not milk chocolate, and to others chocolate of any sort is ok in moderation. A healthy diet is the overall picture, not one food in particular.
Best advice I can give is to eat a diet consisting of whatever foods you like and enjoy, that do not make you sick in any way, in whatever quantity and with whatever frequency you prefer, in order to allow you to hit your calorie, macronutrient, and micronutrient goals each day. You do not have to cut out certain foods to have a healthy diet, nor do you have to eat certain foods to have a healthy diet. There is a wide variety of food choices out there with varying levels of nutrient density, and it's up to you to figure out which foods fit into your lifestyle and best help you to achieve your nutritional goals.0
