Hey Guys,
Just another excerpt from one of my motivational speeches. This time a topic I'm sure you are all more than familiar with PAIN!
To get to a place you have never been before in your fitness life, you are ging to have to take the pain! I'm not talking about putting yourself for injury etc, I'm talking about where your muscle begin to burn as they are starved of oxygen, where your running so hard you feel like your lungs will burst, when you are squattingand you take the bar down and the intense pain that drives through your legs when you are on your way up. This is the pain that you need to push through to get to where you want to be!
Beyond the pain is your prize!
When you are working out here are just a few things to think about when you start to feel in pain:
Only YOU can feel the pain
Only YOU can chose to take the pain
Only YOU can decide to fight the pain
Only YOU can overcome the pain and gain success for YOURSELF!
How many times have you given up on a workout because it started to hurt, or you didn't feel like you could push through another rep? How many times have you let the pain end your workout instead of the workout ending because there was nothing left to do? Do not let pain limit how successful you could be!
No matter how long the pain lasts, days, weeks, months whatever. It will never surpass the feeling of achievement and success you will gain in reaching your goals!
If you go out running and you reach a fork in the road; one way is a steep hill, the other continues on flat. You need to start taking that road with the hill. You need to tell yourself I am will to take my body past the point where my mind would have given up!
