Trip to Rockefeller Center`

Growing up as a kid I always looked forward to going into the city with my parents and sister to see the tree and walk around. This is the second year we have taken our boys in and they love it too. times square is a lot different when I was a kid now it is loaded with cartoon characters and toy stores.. all I remember as a kid was strip clubs and hookers.

    I was stationed in NY for 3 years and I LOVED going to Rockefeller Center! Great pictures...you have a good looking family. I'm stationed in Afghanistan now and I REALLY miss the holiday spirit this year. Thanks for posting these, they definitely brought a smile :)

    I love the city all year, with the exception of really hot August days.. but Christmas time in the city is my favorite. Christmas trees all over the place, decorations on every store and park, even the Salvation Army guys with their bells. All we need now is a little snow.

    Ah, the good 'ol days. I grew up in MO, but got to go with my dad to NY when I was 10 for a business trip. One night when we were there, we went to see Merlin, off Broadway. On one of those streets with hookers and XXX theaters. :blushing: He actually walked me down the street with his hand over my eyes. I can only imagine what that looked like to anyone that saw us walking down THAT particular street like that. haha! :laugh: We had a great time though. :happy:
