Meals that are good sources of fat and protein?

Hi, MFP family!
I'm operate at my best when I get the bulk of my calories from fat, protein and veggies (satisfied longer, think about food less or not at all/limited cravings).
Protein and veggies are easy to prep and fit into my calories. It's finding food that also have enough fat to keep me satisfied that don't break the calorie bank that is a challenge.
I eat salmon, add cheese to stuff, know that avocados are a good source, omelette's with tons of veggies and a slice of cheese...but I'm running out of ideas/am bored with my current meal plan.
Anyone else eat this way? If so, what do you eat? What do you bring for lunch? What's a typical/favorite dinner?
Thanks for giving me some inspiration

If you google "paleo" or "primal" foods...you will get tons of suggestions. (both of these lifestyles are high protein/high fat)

Charmagne, I don't really have any ideas for you, but I want to say WOW! You are an inspiration. Nearly 100 pounds in a year?!

I add (natural unsalted) peanut butter to apples and bananas, sometimes I just eat a tbsp on its own though. Same goes for almond/sunflower/cashew butters.
I've recently started to add more nuts to my diet (not just using the butters), hazelnuts, sunflower seeds and almonds are quite satisfying to me as a post-dinner snack plus the fiber helps keep you satiated overnight.0 -
If you like salads, they provide a great opportunity to get some great protein and fat. Just add lots of different things to keep things interesting, and try making your own dressings (higher in real, good for you fat and more delicious). I love salmon and tuna on greens with nuts, goat cheese, and dried fruit. Then I add some balsamic vinegar, olive oil and salt and pepper. Also, mix olive oil with lemon juice, dijon mustard, white and black pepper and a pinch of salt for a great dressing.0

Love unsalted peanut butter, plus I always keep almonds nearby for the protein/fat.

Yum - try this:
GREEN EGGS AND HAM
Ingredients:
• 1/2 Avocado
• 3 hard-boiled eggs
• juice from a fresh lemon
• Sea Salt & Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste
• Bacon crumbles
Instructions • Cook up some bacon so it's nice and crispy. Set aside. • Mash the avocado in the bottom of your bowl. • Juice a fresh lemon over the mashed avocado. • Sprinkle with a little sea salt & fresh ground black pepper. • Mash it all together. • Peel & chop your hard-boiled eggs. (I like to chop each egg in quarters.) • Add the chopped egg to the bowl. • Sprinkle a little more lemon juice, sea salt, and pepper atop the eggs. • Combine everything together. • Garnish with some cooked bacon. • Eat. Enjoy0
