Weight Loss Idea

Great weight loss idea…adopt a dog!! Of course only if you want one, can financially afford one, and are responsible enough to understand they come first because you are the human…
Anyways with that said I spent the day at the dog park with my newly adopted pup and before you know it I have 12,000 steps. It wasn’t even work, and didn’t realize I was packing on the steps so fast.
The morning and evening walks are great too, and the dog appreciates it beyond words.
Of course it’s no substitute for cardio and gym time, but it’s a great foundation for a day full of movement. Hanging out at the dog park seeing and meeting all kinds of species (both K9 and human) sure beats the c*@p out of being parked in front of the TV all afternoon. Be sure to thank your pup with some frozen yogurt (remember to put it in the freezer before you leave) afterwards!!
I am brand new to MFP and thought I would post my idea that would not only provide a pup a home but also provides us humans a means to keep active and moving.

I have two Jack Russell Terriers that are full of energy and keep me moving. Even my 11 year old senior pup will give me a run for my money.0
