HI! My name is Danielle. i'm a 27 year old mom, to 3 beautiful daughters. (4,2, and 7 months). i joined with the hopes of learning how to eat better, how to learn to enjoy exercising, and to lose 50-60lbs. i know it wont be easy with the crazy, busy life of working full time and tending to 3 kids and a husband. i'm trying to stay positive and make this an enjoyable challenge!

Welcome! I know the feeling. I hated to exercise when I started losing weight, now I really enjoy it. Just a matter of finding things that you like and developing a habit of doing it, just like we develop bad habits, let it become a good habit!0

I know this might not be much but I always tell my clients Learn to Love the THings you Hate( exercise, eating healthier) Because that will give you the results you want. Change happens when you challange yourself physicaly and metally. Always push yourself Out of your Comfort Zone!
Always expect more from yourself. Remember it is not selfish to put yourself 1st!0 -

I feel ya on the hating exercise. I would get on a treadmill and in a few minutes be bored out of my mind. I have found I exercise more if I play the wii games.0

The more you exercise the more you get to eat!!!
(Also, find something fun. I hate running, but I like my gym's cardio classes, yoga, zumba, and swimming)0 -
Just remember the more you exercise the more calories you burn therefore you get to eat some of your exercise calories back which means eating more food...yay, it's a win win thing. You exercise so you get fitter and lose weight but can still work towards having treat sometimes Like the other poster said it's a case of finding a type of exercise you like. I love exercising now because it makes me feel good.
Now I feel slightly ashamed to admit this but...the other morning down the gym when I was having a particularly tough session with my trainer I was visualising a bacon sandwich down the other end of the gym as I was doing walking lunges. It was a great incentive to do those lunges and boy did that sandwich taste good when I got home, I didn't feel even slightly guilty as I'd worked hard for it
ed. oops sorry mjtwomail I guess I was typing the same thing at the same time as you..0
