Starting another battle in the war

Hi there.
I'm 28 and in that stress/weight gain cycle I'm sure many are familiar with. I don't care to be too skinny, but I sure don't want to be this heavy either. Current weight is around 230, want to get down to 150 (high end of the "recommended" weight for my height). I have a busy life but am hoping technology will help me in this new battle as I have had the MFP app on my phone for 4 days and LOVE it!
Would love some support to keep my motivation up!

The site is wonderful and great support is here but you still have to fill out your diary and be honest in filling out your diary!
that has been the biggest help to me is the diary.
If you are honest in yur diary it will be a real eyeopener.
I was shoched at how maany calories i was actually consuming!
More than anything else just logging my calories has markedly reduced how much i eat. I can honestly say I have not been hungry since starting MFP. I have lost 10 pounds. weigh in in the morning after a holiday party this evening wish me luck.0
