watch me shine by Joanni Pacinni (i think thats how you spell her name) you all probably remember the song from Legally Blonde when Elle is in the bunny suit waiting to pay for her laptop and she decides she is going to prove that she is bad *kitten* to all those that think she is a ding dong!
As annoying as she is in that movie, it's one of my favorites to watch. Every time it's on TV, I always sit down and watch it.

My sister has given me a song that describes me now...

    Max-A-Million -- Fat Boy

But, I'm going to change all that!

The topic below got me thinking so what is your theme song for life?
You know the one that always gets you going. That's lyrics speak to you. That you blast at the gym or cheer yourself up with on a rough day!

Mine hands down is the Moto Blanco remix of Mary J Blige's "Just Fine"

Awesome happy dancey track with amazing lyrics - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvHmNPSSMTE&feature=fvw

Ok - I do have one equalizer.

I take pride in my integrity as a man. My parents taught me to return two favors back when soemone lends a hand to me. The song that best describes me is...Boston's - To Be A Man...

The will to give and not receive
The strength to say what you believe
The heart to feel what others feel inside
To see what they can see

A man is something that's real
    It's not what you are
    It's what you can feel
    It can't be too late
To look through the hate and see
I know that's what a man can be

My current theme songs are more like self-rally songs: James Brown's I Got You (I Feel Good) or Queen's We Are The Champions. They're nowhere in my playlist, but if I hear either one I dance a little.

My playlist is a lot of Stone Roses, Primal Scream, Depeche Mode and Chemical Brothers. I could exercise to that music for infinity. Especially Chemical Brothers - that always gets my motor revving.
  • OMG!!! It changes from day to day.. also I find that I am a very eclectic person. Here is a list that you might find that rotates for me

    Unnamed Feeling - Metallica
    American Bada$$ - KidRock
Southern State of Mind - Darius Rucker
Beer for My Horses - Toby Keith
    Break Sh1t - Limp Bizkit
    Zac Brown - Chicken Fry
You are so good to me - Both Third Day and 100 Portraits
Thou Art a Shield - Michael Gunger (Believers Church)
God Knows who I am - Montgomery Gentry
    St Anger - Metallica

But if you had to just pin one song on me.. It would have to be
    Lucky Man - Montgomery Gentry

This was me 25 years ago:

Ride on -- AC / DC

    It's another lonely evening
    And another lonely town
But I ain't too young to worry
And I ain't too old to cry
When a woman gets me down
    Got another empty bottle
    And another empty bed
Ain't too young to admit it
And I'm not too old to lie
    I'm just another empty head
    That's why I'm lonely
    I'm so lonely
But I know what I'm gonna do -
    I'm gonna ride on
    Ride on
Ride on, standing on the edge of the road
Ride on, thumb in the air
Ride on, one of these days I'm gonna
Ride on, change my evil ways
Till then I'll just keep riding on
    Broke another promise
    And I broke another heart
But I ain't too young to realize
That I ain't too old to try
Try to get back to the start
And it's another red light nightmare
    Another red light street
And I ain't too old to hurry
Cause I ain't too old to die
But I sure am hard to beat
    But I'm lonely
    Lord I'm lonely
What am I gonna do -
    Ride on
Ride on, got myself a one-way ticket
    Ride on
Ride on, going the wrong way
Ride on, gonna change my evil ways
Ride on, one of these days
    One of these days
    Ride on
    Ride on
    I'm gonna ride on
Ride on, looking for a truck
    Ride on
    Ride on, keep on riding
Riding on and on and on and on
Gonna have myself a good time
    Ohhh yeah
    Ride ride ride
    One of these days
    One of these days...

    This is me now:

    Wonderful Tonight -- Eric Clapton

It's late in the evening; she's wondering what clothes to wear.
She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair.
And then she asks me, "Do I look all right?"
And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight."

We go to a party and everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady that's walking around with me.
And then she asks me, "Do you feel all right?"
And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight."

I feel wonderful because I see
The love light in your eyes.
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize how much I love you.

It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head,
So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed.
And then I tell her, as I turn out the light,
I say, "My darling, you were wonderful tonight.
Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight."

Both of these are in my all-time favorites. Great choices!!!

Don, I was in PV over the summer. Met a guy named BJ. He had just retired and been diagnosed with MS. Anyway, my daughter was going to karaoke some KISS in the bar. While we were waiting for her turn, we herard someone singing "Sweet Caroline" and it was perfect. Got closer and saw it was BJ.

I asked my daughter to ask him to sing "Wonderful Tonight" when she went up on the stage. They ended the karaoke before he could sing it, but he asked the house band if he could sing it. They let him. He was great. Danced with my wife. Made big points that evening.

  • World Leader Pretend by R.E.M.

I sit at my table and wage war on myself
It seems like it's all, it's all for nothing
    I know the barricades, and
I know the mortar in the wall breaks
I recognize the weapons, I used them well

This is my mistake. Let me make it good
I raised the wall and I will be the one to knock it down

I've a rich understanding of my finest defenses
I proclaim that claims are left unstated,
    I demand a rematch
    I decree a stalemate
    I divine my deeper motives
    I recognize the weapons
I've practiced them well. I fitted them myself

    (chorus)
It's amazing what devices you can sympathize, empathize
This is my mistake. Let me make it good
I raised the wall and I will be the one to knock it down

Reach out for me and hold me tight. Hold that memory
Let my machine talk to me, let my machine talk to me

    This is my world
And I am world leader pretend
    This is my life
    And this is my time
I have been given the freedom
To do as I see fit
It's high time I've razed the walls
    That I've constructed

    (repeat chorus)

You fill in the mortar. You fill in the harmony
You fill in the mortar. I raised the wall
    And I'm the only one
I will be the one to knock it down

Naw-"6 pack" is better. Way angrier. It was never a party until we slam danced to that song and broke something.:drinker:

I've got a new one: Unstoppable by Kat Deluna.

You can talk all you want but my skin is really thick
I’m the leader of the crowd and my game is really sick
    I’m unstoppable, unstoppable, unstoppable, unstoppable

Save your pity for tomorrow when I smash it like a ball
In the club, on the news I’ll be rockin like a rock star
    I’m unstoppable, unstoppable, unstoppable, unstoppable
    ...

See ain’t nothing stopping me, I feel like ain’t nothing after me
Huh, whatcha talking about that? I ran in a bank and walked out set
Yeah, and I walk it like I talk but I run this *kitten*, yeah I run it like a poesy
I’m on the A list ‘cause I’m all young money.

***This is on the top of my running play list right now***
