I'm looking for friends who are in Alabama, or the South. I'm in middle Alabama. I would love to find someone who wants to go from walking to half! I used to run a lot but after a wreck and injury to my leg everything even down hill. I want back that peace and empowerment running brought. I think it might help me to have some encouragement from locals especially those who have done or are interested in doing some of the races in Alabama.

    Hey, I wish we lived closer together, my walking partner(my daughter) just left for college down at Jacksonville. Unfortunately, I live in the NE AL area. But I hope this thread will find you a walking partner, best wishes and Roll Tide!!:happy:
