My favorite grocery store chain carried my favorite greek yogurt: Fage. Problem was, they only carried the fat free sort in the large containers I buy, I choose to eat the 2% fat sort. A quick talk to customer service, no problem, they'll order me some in special.

I got a call today from them, only 2 days after speaking with customer service. Forget special ordering it, it has been added to their standard stocking order and now has a spot in the dairy aisle!!

WOOHOO!!

Sweet! One morning I went to my favorite local convenience mart and said in passing that I was craving Flaming Hot Funyuns. I went back for a soda at noon and they had stocked them for me. It made me feel like a freaking queen!

That is great! Nothing like not being able to get the things you like.

I'm originally from NE Ohio and for years have been buying DiRusso's turkey Italian Sausage, but can't get it where we live now since it's producec by a smal local business. Fortunately we make a few trips a year back home, so it's something I must buy when we go back. Now that I'm using MFP, I will be buying a few more packages on our next trip!

This works in restaurants too. I asked for a "special " salad which is now part of the regular menu at a local diner.
