Will I need to reset my stats?

I set my goal to lose 28 lbs total.
I have lost 7 lbs so far - and seem to be having a harder time losing (granted this past week was TOM - so yeah)

I know I have read that people may need to change the stats on MFP as they lose weight, but I just assumed it would be for those people who started out heavier.

Is this the case? Or will I at some point (when) have to re-enter my stats to get a different calorie goal to continue losing?

Just want to be sure I am doing this right.

It can't hurt to recalculate your TDEE and your BMR. You are carrying less weight. I don't think you'll see much of a change, but it depends on your height/size, too. A 5' person losing 7-10 lbs is a larger % of total body than a 6' person losing 7-10 lbs.

    5'11" for me.
My BMR according to my Wii put me at overweight. (cant remember the #)
I suppose I can recalculate my TDEE based on my current weight now... but as I posted in another thread I am almost consistently 300-500 calories UNDER my MFP goal intake anyway.. so I figure it comes to the same thing.

If you are using MFP's typical settings and putting your new weights in, it will take care of the calorie changes.

Do note that losing weight is NOT linear and some weeks you will lose more or less (or not at all). And as you get closer and closer to your goal, you should change the number of pounds per week to lose (for example, I started at 20lb to lose, so I went with 1/2 lb per week - if I had more than 20lb but under 50lb to lose, I would have gone with 1 lb or 1-1/2 lb per week).

I have 21 lbs left to lose.. so should I change? I am set at 0.5 lbs per week if I am not mistaken... 1lb at the most
