Here I Go Again....

I am 5'3" and this morning I weighed in at 223 pounds. When I started my original journey almost two years ago, I was 233 pounds. I got all the way down to 195 pounds about a year ago and bought two pairs of jeans in a size 14 (yay!!!!). I have no idea how I let myself get all the way back into the 220's, but this is it, I've had enough, and I don't want this!!! I'm starting over TODAY and I'm getting back to One-derland. I look back at the pictures from last summer and my face looks so slim and I look happy. I'm not happy now and this weight is not welcome and it has to go. So, here I go again, I'm getting back into my healthy lifestyle and I'm losing this weight again and for good! I can do it and I want to do it and I will do it. I'm going to get back into those size 14's and before I know it, those are going to be too big

Congratulations on getting back on track.

I think you could really benefit from thinking long and hard about how you got back to where you are. It will probably be unpleasant, but without knowing the mental/emotional reasons you let the physical get to where it did, you won't be able to guard against those things happening again.

Another question to ask yourself: what are you going to do differently this time?

Good for you! Great attitude to have about it, knowing what worked before and setting your sights on achieving it.

You are not alone! I went from 283 to 208 last year over the course of 10 months and gained back WAY too much (but not all) of it. About a week ago, I started counting each calorie and I'm actually marking out gym time on the calendar so that I won't skip. It won't happen overnight and it's a big commitment to make, but I know that my health and happiness is worth it in the end.
