Better late than never

Hello everyone, I'm Leorio. I guess I'm here because I want to get back to the weight I used to be years ago. I've been meaning to get back in shape for years but never really found the right motivation. Lately I've been dating someone who is in great shape and never tries to force me to get in shape. I like that she accepts me for who I am and because of that I want to make myself the best me I can be.
I live 2 blocks away from a lake so I have access to a great running trail. I'm hoping by using this site as a daily reminder to keep track of my calorie intake I can slowly build up my motivation to work out on a weekly basis.

I appreciate any and all advice and motivation you guys can give.
