I new to fitness pal. Seems to be a great calorie tracker. However, how do I switch the food weights from grams to ounces? I have no idea how much a gram is.

O sorry, actually for food you can't change oz/grams unless you personally "add food to MFP database". The weight is usually determined by the nutrition label. Usually there are multiple entries for the same food item, see if one of those have different serving units0

Invest in a (reasonably priced) food scale ASAP. It'll be really helpful. Promise!0

some of the foods you select will come in oz...depends what it is...but a good rule of thumb is you aren't "exact" is a cup is about 235 grams... 1/2 cups about 118 grams...0
