Fat, disguisting, and just tired

I lost a total of 100 pounds already but i still feel extremely huge. I get like this some days but today i just felt horrible.
My stomach is so fat, i do so much strength training and my stomach just gets bigger everyday, i still lose slowly about .8 pounds a week but stomach isnt going anywhere. I look 9 months pregnant just ready to pop when the rest of my body is small.
This is eating me alive, i am so insecure about my huge stomach like i just want to give up. I feel as though i am losing everywhere and just gaining in my stomach. What can i do?

Im 5'8 170 pounds.

    What can i do?

Not be so hard on yourself. I also look pregnant and it's really mortifying when someone comments. I have terrible posture and have started pilates etc in an effort to stenghten my core. Every body has a different shape and sometimes you just have to learn to live with it. Hugs to you.

We are the same height and you are 10 pounds ahead of me in terms of weight loss. Be proud of what you have accomplished! Take out a before picture and take a current one if you haven't. The last pounds to leave my frame are coming from my midsection. I am doing more strength and core workouts. They are helping to tightening everything up, but I know the loose skin is going to stay around my midsection unless I elect to have surgery. I also make sure that my undergarments provide proper support and lift.
  • Just wanted to say well done on your weight loss. I'm at the start of my journey. Although it maybe hard to do, try to think back to where you were to start, you've come so far. Hope tomorrow you feel better about yourself and realise what you've achieved.

You have lost 100 pounds, be proud of that. For me my belly is the last thing to go. It will come off, you just need to keep going.

I used to be 240 and i'm now around 185 or lower( have not weighed myself in 3 weeks). I feel the same way when i look at my bare body, but there are a few thing that help.
Look for old pictures- I saw a picture of me from last year at my friends house and was shocked, was I that huge
Wear tighter clothes, when i wear tighter clothes my figure improves greatly. Is it perfect to me? No but it's much more flattering.
Wear old clothes- I have old size 16 shorts I wear when I feel down. When i put them on and see how huge they are on me. It really shows how far i've come.
Learn to appreciate how far you've come, the more you hate your body the less you will see change. Most women don't see full results until they are 20%-26% body fat and have lost for at LEAST 8 months. So be patient your body is constantly changing, you just have to give it time.

We have very similar measurements, and trust me there are days where i feel exactly the same. Learning to be confident with what I got now helps so much. I'm wearing high wasted shorts and a tight shirt right now, 2 hours ago I pointed out every flaw I had with what i saw and now i'm just working it. You lost 100lbs, no way you should ever feel less accomplished by that. You're amazing, learn to love yourself and become an even stronger person

Have you thought of seeing your doctor? It seems unlikely that someone's stomach would get larger when they are doing both exercise and calorie reduction.
There could be a few health issues (I'm not going to list them here) that do cause abdominal girth gain...so maybe it is time to see your doctor.

Great accomplishment on losing so much weight! I can't wait to reach the goals you've already hit.

A 100 pound loss is awesome! You should feel proud, that was hard to do. I agree with others ask your doctor to check insulin and hormone levels. Middle age women have issues that contribute to increased waist measurements. Hang in there!

I went to the doctors. Everything is normal.

You have lost 100 Ibs...that is a great accomplishment. You need to focus on that and the parts that you do view as slimmed down instead of honing in on the one part you are not seeing as smaller. It can take time for your mind to accept the reality that you are, indeed, much smaller than you were. Treat yourself kindly, and counteract those negative thoughts with positive things. You are not your body parts. You are you, which is so much more. And you most certainly are not disgusting. Kick those thoughts to the kerb and do something nice for yourself.
