pepper and such other things only have very few calories. so if you are counting pepper as calorie intake then you need to count ice water as calories burned. One cup of ice water is equivelant to one tbs of pepper.

Ha, that is hilarious! Good to know! I am a room-temp water girl, but maybe I should be kicking it up a notch to ice water. Actually, just typing that made me shiver, so maybe not, but I love that tidbit of info!

I love this randomness! (and reminds me that I didn't count that Hershey kiss yesterday.)

Jen, do you count pepper? Jee whizz I hadn't even considered doing so!!!! I guess I am a slacker lol! but I think for my mental health I have to try to be moderate coz I oculd be an MFP junkie! lol!!!!!
  • I only really "count" pepper and other spices when I'm entering recipes and thats just as a guide to myself to use them next time I'm making the same thing again.

i don't count pepper or ketchup or anything like that because i drink so much ice water through out the day. not only for my health but i love ice water and my doctor told me i needed to drink more of it. supposedly it helps reduce headaches which i tend to have almost everyday. but not lately.
