    eat 200-300 calories less in the morning, and eat them at night. The whole stop eating 4 hours before you go to sleep is a myth.
    People gain weight because they end up eating more, but if you're burning calories in the morning/afternoon, you're still burning them at night. As long you have a deficit you will loose weight.
