edited March 2 in Introduce Yourself
I've been a member of MFP for quite some time. Went through a period where I stopped using it all together and then started back up with it.
I'm at my heaviest ever and it's taking a toll on my mental and emotional health. I have my mom and stepdad friended on here and their support is awesome. My stepdad even lost 40+# already. Super kudos to him.
I'm hoping I can emulate that and also lose about 40-50# myself.
It's been an immense struggle so far and I only seem to be gaining instead of losing.

I'm 27, a reading interventionist at a Title I school. Army disabled veteran. Been to school for my assoc in IT. I have a culinary diploma too. I like to draw, play video games, watch anime/cartoons/movies, and enjoy nature. I also like to eat, it makes me feel good to be full (hence my needing to lose weight).

I don't really have much to say... it's taken me this long just to introduce myself. I don't usually like to put myself out there like these posts do but I figured why not just to say hi to people.

Howdy! I added you as a friend. I am starting back up on MFP as well, after losing weight many years ago and then gaining it back. I have realistic goals now, and I'm taking it slow and steady.
