So - I have lost over 50 lbs and am just having one of those days where I still feel huge. Any one else ever feel this way in your journey. I now eat healthy everyday, and go to the gym everyday, if not twice. I guess it is a "winter" slump. I miss my runs and walking outside. I have 30 lbs to still go, and am determined to make it. Today is just one of those days that I still feel big, not sure why.

OH MY GOD that is fantastic. Look at that sentence by itself. You have lost 50 lbs. That is amazing. It may be true that you have more to go, it may be true that we can always make improvements, but you've lost 50 lbs!! I've lost 5 in 4 weeks, and have at least 30 to go, so you are an inspiration to me!

You know...6 years ago I had my second son and I weighed 254. I slowly lost some of the weight over time. I went on Atkins and watched what i ate or so I thought....anyways it took me about 4 years to lose 80lbs and I still feel like the "fat girl" I have about 20lbs to go before I am at goal and I still feel huge on days but..... when I was bigger I NEVER had "skinny days". I would rather feel big once in a while then feel "skinny" once in a while:) Chin up girl!! You are doing amazingly well. The body is there, you just have to weight for the self esteem to catch up:)

You'll make it you're just in a 'blah' like you said. You've got most of the race done but it's still a long race to go and these are the hardest miles that weight gets harder to get off. But, you know what your doing and you'll make it sooner than you'll think. Good luck!
  • Thanks guys!!! I just got back from the gym and feel a little better. You are all right. I did lose over 50 lbs since August, and I need to think of that and how I have changed my life for the better. It is like a marathon, I am going strong but not quite finished.
  • Good for you!!! Your progess is amazing!!!

I was reading this article earlier and thought it might help you too....
