how to slice a melon

I saw this on yahoo food,it is so easy. Cut melon on 2. Place cut side down. Cut vertical strip, then horizontal cuts. Pull ou indivual slices.
There is still a little piece of rind on the end, but it looks like a wtermelon pop. took it to pot luck at work big hir!!
