Strengthening my Middle Back

Maybe someone can help me with this, The muscle grouping in my middle back is constantly tight and pretty weak. When I am doing sit ups or push ups, this group is usually the first to go. It always sets in, as though it hasn't been stretched out properly.

What would be some good stretches to nail that target group?

    to strengthen then try squatting, deadlifts and learn power cleans.
