I always do weekly calorie counting but I was wondering if it would be ok to make it into biweekly or monthly counting? would that still work?

In theory yes but in practice, it depends. Just for example if you end up blowing through your calories early and then severely restricting you'll probably face longer term adherence issues.0

no - it won't work.0

I'd say that unless you're the sort of person who is very good at visualizing their numbers or has a program to do it for them so that you are aware each day how much over/under target you are and what your average for the rest of the period should be... then you will likely lose track and end up significantly over.
Most people simply can't juggle that period of time comfortably in their head. But some can.0
