NSV from a stranger. I work at Home Depot, the other day a nice older gentleman I was helping commented on the fact that I was wearing a dress to work at a hardware store and he thought I looked lovely. I thanked him and moved on with my day, hours later I was leaving work and the same old man was just heading back inside for more parts when he saw me unlocking my bike from the racks out front. He smiled wide and said, "oh, so that's why you're so fit, you ride your bike." Fit? Me? Nah....... But I loved the compliment

What is it with older men and dresses, anyway? I went to Sam's Club a few weeks ago with my dad, and I happened to be wearing a wrap style polka dot dress. I got so many looks and 2 compliments from middle aged men working there and appreciative comments from colleague of my dad's in his 60s. It was a little boost though despite their ages.
