Last time I went out to a restaurant to eat, I wasn't prepared. I thought if a friend and I split lunch I would be way under on the calories and was very wrong, my half ended up being 1220:sad: A little while ago I got call saying I was going out to dinner tonight, I said that's fine, but I need to know where first so I can plan my meal before I get there. They picked,so I got online and picked my dinner out by calories. It's still going to be higher then I like so now I'm off to use my EA Active to get a work out in before dinner and then I'll do one later too.

    Good luck.
I know how difficult it going out to eat can be.
But as long as you get a dang good workout in and plan ahead everything will be fine.
    Have fun at dinner!!
  • Sounds like you have a good plan in place to tackle the outing. I travel quite a bit with work, and the most challenging thing is planning meals out. Especially when I don't have to pay for the! I did find on my last trip that I was only able to eat about 1/2 of the food on the plate, so my calorie count wasn't as high as I thought. Order a house salad and a glass of water first to fill up on and ask for a to go container and box 1/2 you food at the start of the meal. Good luck!!!

I also know how it feels,to go out and eat, and not be within my cals and fat. I like steak, and have found out how bad that can actually be for you. So, now I tell everyone that I am going to eat where it is good for me, and i can eat something healthier than what they eat. If they want to eat bad, so be it for them. But I refuse. WSe went out to What A Burger last weekend, and I found out what a mistake that was. Stay strong.
