Abs for an apple shape

I am very apple shaped thanks to my PCOS - so its very hard to lose fat around around my mid section. I do an hour of intense cardio 6 days a week and always stay under my calories. I am losing a bit - but I have always heard that situps dont really work for my problem. Anyone have an ab workout for an apple shaped girls that is effective? Its really the only place I need to work on.

Planks maybe, or just lifting heavy weights since that involves your core significantly.
At the end of the day abs are about burning off that last vestige of fat, and that is hard to do.0 -

Yeah, you're just going to have to wait out the fat. I know, it stinks. I am in the same apple shaped boat. I do some core work (planks) for general strength purposes but there's no way to get that specific fat to disappear any quicker.0

add strength training and get enough protein, that way a larger % of your weight loss will come from fat.0
