Successes on Vibroplate/Powerplate?

So, I've been going to my local tanning salon and spending about 20 minutes (sometimes between 30-40 minutes) every day on the vibrating machine for about 2 weeks. My friend says she has noticed some changes to my arms specifically and I have measured a 1.5 inch loss from my legs. My problem is that I am also heavily restricting (below the recommended) so am unsure how great an effect that is having on the entire process.

Question: Has anyone had any fast success with doing this sort of exercise alone? And what sorts of exercises have you done with them, either on the plate itself or before or after using the machine?


[Please don't tell me to eat more because I know it's not ideal. To try and prevent peeps from still mentioning it: It's only for a 4-week period, yes I've done this before and seems to be a quick-fix method that works for me personally, and yes I'm going to completely ignore any messages regarding that issue.]
