So what is your favorite Christmas movie?

Mine has to be National Lampoons Christmas Vacation for sure!

    Its difficult to choose but there are 5 I like to watch around Christmas which are (in no order of preference):

    Lethal Weapon
    Die Hard
    Gremlins
    Nightmare Before Christmas
    Home Alone

    I realise that only one of those seemingly has anything to do with Christmas but the rest all take place at Christmas which is good enough to make it a Christmas movie in my book

    There are alot of great Xmas movies! The one we like to show our child every year is "Its a Wonderful life" with Jimmy Stewart. Made in 1920's ? But theme is how you impact the world around you & the differance you make in it! Great story line & teaches a lesson or two in the process!:wink:

    Definitely 'It's a Wonderful Life', although I do get very giddy when I see the Charlie Brown Xmas special advertised! :)

    'Planes, Trains and Automobiles' is actually about Thanksgiving time.. isn't it? haha. ahh well. Still, it's a great movie. I have far too many. Home Alone 1 and 2 also for me and The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. I have more favorites but can't think of them at the moment. aw shucks. A Christmas Story is a classic though. love it.

    The Nativity Story is my new favorite, and I must admit that I have a teeny crush on actor Oscar Isaac, who plays Jesus' father Joseph. ;-)
