Hey all,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I started using the myfitnesspal app on my ipod on 11/20/2010, but hadn't been to the site to see the forum until today. I am a stay-at-home mom and I try to walk 3-4 times a week and substitute the walks every other day or so with various work-out videos. RIght now I am walking between 3-5 miles every walk and I use the 10 minute solution DVDs. When I use the DVDs I do 3 of the workouts to total a half an hour workout.
I really would like to get back to the weight I was when I got married almost 6 years ago. I got really sick after I got married and my legs didn't work, so I was practically unable to walk for over 6 months. I gained about 40 pounds and just never got it off. I was finally starting to work out again in 2008, then I got pregnant and so now it is the end of 2010 and as of 11/20 I was 180 lbs. I have lost about 7-8 pounds so far, but my weight seems to fluctuate every day. It seems like it can change 5 pounds in a 24 hour period depending on when I weigh myself. Is that normal?
Good luck and happy weight loss to all!

I don't see that much of a change in weight but depending on how much water I drink (or liquids for that matter) and when I weight myself do make a big difference. I try to stick to early morning when I get up... during the day I am active and I don't eat at regular times... by night I am full from dinner or liquids so I don't feel that is the best time to weigh in.
I've seen fluctuations of about 3 pounds though with my current weigh in time so I really don't go by day to day on my progress...0
