Just watch Super Size Me. It's nothing I didn't already know, but it's still shocking. After watching this I don't know if I can eat fast food ever again!

I know it! I've watched it a couple of times and the information is amazing!!! I love it! But it was sickening...

A lady at my church has a McDonalds double cheeseburger sandwich that she has had for nearly a dozen years. It doesn't look like its decaying in the slightest. She brought it into church for a little snippet she did before service. It was interesting to think that we would put something in our bodies that was SO preserved that it hadn't decayed in so long. GROSS. She hadn't done ANYTHING more to preserve it then let it sit. BLECH!

Man... when I watched it... I just really wanted some Chicken McNuggets... it didn't stop me from wanting to eat there at all.

What he did was extreme. I would never ever do that, I couldn't. My Chicken McNuggets are a treat. I know they're horrible for me, but still. He even says what he did was extreme and blah blah, but seriously, I just thought it was so stupid, I didn't get anything out of HIS part of the movie.

But. I will say it was informative....

But I will still eat my mcnuggets on a rare occasion (although I haven't had any in over 4 months! omg!)

They're showing it again tonight. You probably caught it on Discovery Health like I did. It's on again right now (back-to-back episodes, lol).

I will say that seeing the boot shaped McNugget was a fond memory for me. It reminded me of my childhood. But, I'm glad my children will never have that bizarre fond memory!

That is actually horrifying! My husband and I are on a big push to get as much processed food out of our diets as possible. There is so much in processed food that is just terrible and we don't want our kids eating that stuff. Completely giving up fast food won't be hard, we only eat it once or twice a month. But seeing this, and hearing your story, prove that fast food is just too awful to eat ever!
