From size 42 to size 36

I'm feeling pretty happy today. When I was dating my beautiful girlfriend, 6 years ago, she bought me a gift, a size 36 cargo pants. I loved them, but sadly, they were too small for me. She was going to return it, but I said, wait, let it be my motivation to lose weight, and we laughed at it. Time passed, and of course, I forgot about it :). We got married, and six years, two jobs and two kids later, I'm finally able to fit inside those pants! I went from size 42 to size 36 pants. May be it's not a big deal, but it's a milestone for me :) and of course, I won't stop here. The path to a healthy weight and life style is a long road, but I'm definitely happy with my progress so far.

  • I'm in the same boat. I recently lost 70 pounds (from 293 to 223). Obviously all those cloths I was wearing were too big. I went into an old Navy sea bag I had in the back of my walk-in closet where I stored all those pants from years ago (mostly 36 waist/ 34 inseem) and they fit perfect ! I am giving all my 42s and 40s to charity. The 38s still fit ok, maybe a little room but wearable.

Yes, I gave away all my 42 and 40s a couple of weeks ago too. Still keeping the 38s for now.

It might sound like a happily ever after, but taking it for granted is the first step to a rebound, so, I won't give it a break :)
