I wrote this in my blog, but a lot of people on here dont read the blogs so im posting it on here to maybe help motivate people to keep pushing. I have a long way to go but im enjoying the journey......
"Everyone has that voice in their head. You know that voice, the one who says “you can’t do it”, “One lap is just fine” “Having those late night munchies you wanted so bad is ok” “Take the weekend off, you’ll be fine” etc. It’s funny how I always hear that voice when I try to better myself.” She’s always there sabotaging me. Then yesterday, I heard a different voice. I heard this voice a long time ago but she was very faint and the other voice powered over her every time. BUT yesterday, she was LOUDER and more consistent. She was saying “Come on, keep going” “Now try running again, you did it before” “don’t go to the vending machine, you KNOW you will regret it”. This voice really opened up my eyes and kept me really strong and dedicated! I’m loving my transformation, I’m loving how strong I’ve became and I love to know the future looks bright for me! I KNOW this time is different, I feel it in my bones!! I never exercise so much, moved so much, eat so good and felt so amazing in a very very very very long time!! I have goals and smashing them one by one! I just have to make the supportive voice louder and stronger then the bad influence voice! She getting louder and loving hearing her!

I totally love this and more than anything I love where it is coming from. I know the voice you speak of, and I am sure many of us on here do. It is always easier to NOT do one more, then to do it. But the feeling after the fact is that feeling of failure or of not giving it your all.
Seems like you are in great communication with yourself and with your needs and its even better because you have seen results and have realized what works. So happy for you!
I wait for the day where I can confidently say the same and think to myself, not only did I ignore the voices. but now I have something to show for disregarding that negative voice all along.

I love that voice too, mine came back in the last couple weeks in form of my running training,
when I am out now I hear, slow down you want to be consistent we start at a pace and we finish at a pace...
But we all have to also remember we are not a failure when we side step, loose focus or what ever you want to call it.
No matter how many mistakes you make or how slow your progress.
You are still way ahead of anyone who isn't trying.
